Bald Eagle
The bald eagle is a large bird of prey native to North America, known for its striking white head and tail feathers contrasted with a dark brown body and wings. It is the national symbol of the United States, representing freedom and strength. Bald eagles typically live near large lakes, rivers, and coastlines, where they hunt fish and small animals. They have powerful talons and a sharp beak to catch and eat their prey. These birds are excellent fliers, can soar high for long periods, and often build large nests called eyries, which they reuse and add to over the years.
