Błękitna Armia

Błękitna Armia, or the "Blue Army," was a Polish-American military organization formed during World War I, around 1917, primarily to support Poland’s independence effort. Comprising volunteers from Polish communities in the United States and other countries, it aimed to prepare Polish forces for future independence and establish a Polish military presence. The organization provided training, fundraising, and political support for Polish independence from partitioning powers. After World War I, members often joined the newly re-established Polish Army, contributing to Poland’s efforts in securing its sovereignty and national borders.
