Avicenna (Physician)

Avicenna, also known as Ibn Sina, was a Persian philosopher and physician who lived in the 10th and 11th centuries. He is best known for his influential works in medicine, particularly his book "The Canon of Medicine," which organized medical knowledge of the time and was used as a standard textbook for centuries. Avicenna made significant contributions to various fields, combining empirical observation with philosophical reasoning.
