Avesta Scriptures

The Avesta is the primary collection of sacred texts of Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions. It includes hymns, prayers, rituals, and religious laws attributed to the prophet Zoroaster (or Zarathustra). Composed in ancient Avestan language, the scriptures outline the principles of truth, righteousness, and the struggle between good and evil. Core teachings focus on the worship of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god, and emphasize moral choices and the importance of individual responsibility in promoting order (asha) over chaos (druj). The Avesta serves as a spiritual guide for Zoroastrians today.
