Auschwitz Protocols
The Auschwitz Protocols are a set of reports created by two escaping inmates, Rudolf Vrba and Alfred Wetzler, in 1944 from the Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. These documents aimed to inform the world about the systematic genocide of Jews and other victims being carried out by the Nazis. They provided detailed descriptions of the camp's operations, including the gas chambers and mass executions. The protocols were crucial in alerting Allied governments and the public to the horrors of the Holocaust, influencing responses and actions during the later stages of World War II.
