Atwood Machine

The Atwood Machine consists of a pulley anchored at the top with two masses attached to either end of a string that passes over the pulley. When one mass is heavier, gravity causes it to descend while the lighter mass ascends. The system's motion depends on the masses, gravity, and the pulley’s characteristics. It demonstrates principles of Newton’s laws, such as how force results in acceleration. It’s commonly used in physics experiments to study the relationship between force, mass, and acceleration in a controlled setup.
