Atopic Dermatitis - Occupational

Atopic dermatitis, often known as eczema, is a chronic skin condition that causes inflamed, itchy, and red skin. When it occurs as a result of an individual's work environment or job-related exposures, it’s termed occupational atopic dermatitis. This can happen when employees come into contact with irritants or allergens, like chemicals or materials, that trigger or worsen their eczema symptoms. Individuals with a history of eczema may be more susceptible to these reactions. Managing this condition involves avoiding triggers, using moisturizers, and sometimes medication to control flare-ups.
