Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit
Atlanta's Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs) are community organizations that enable residents to participate in local government and planning processes. The city is divided into 25 NPUs, each representing a specific area. These units allow citizens to voice concerns, influence decisions on zoning, development, and community issues, and promote neighborhood development. Regular meetings facilitate discussions, empower residents, and foster collaboration with city officials. NPUs play a vital role in ensuring that community needs and perspectives are considered in Atlanta’s growth and planning initiatives.
