Asymptomatic patients

Asymptomatic patients are individuals who carry a disease or infection but do not show any noticeable signs or symptoms. This means they feel healthy and might be unaware they are infected. However, they can still spread the disease to others. For example, an asymptomatic person with COVID-19 can transmit the virus even if they don’t feel sick. Recognizing asymptomatic carriers is important for controlling outbreaks, as they can unknowingly contribute to the spread of infections despite feeling well themselves.
