Association of Black Historians

The Association of Black Historians (ABH) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the history and culture of people of African descent. Established in 1976, it serves as a platform for scholars, educators, and community members to engage in research, discussion, and advocacy related to Black history. The ABH seeks to address historical narratives that have often overlooked or marginalized Black contributions and experiences.
