Assembly of the League

The Assembly of the League was a key part of the League of Nations, which was established after World War I to promote peace and cooperation among countries. The Assembly was made up of representatives from all member nations and met annually to discuss international issues, vote on resolutions, and set policies. It aimed to resolve conflicts through negotiation rather than war. Although it had some successes, the League ultimately struggled to maintain peace, especially in the 1930s, and was dissolved after World War II. Its lessons influenced the creation of the United Nations.
