Ashwatthama is a character from the Indian epic Mahabharata. He is the son of Drona, a revered teacher and warrior. Ashwatthama is known for his immense strength and wisdom, but also for his tragic role in the war of Kurukshetra, where he fought for the Kauravas. After the conflict, Ashwatthama, filled with grief and rage over his father's death, committed atrocities against the victorious Pandavas. He is considered a symbol of vengeance and the consequences of war. In mythology, he is said to be immortal, wandering the earth and bearing the weight of his actions for eternity.
