Asher's Disease

Asher's Disease, also known as Asherman's Syndrome, is a condition where scar tissue forms in the uterus, often after surgery like a dilation and curettage (D&C) or childbirth complications. This scar tissue can lead to reduced menstrual flow, painful periods, or infertility. Women may experience changes in their menstrual cycle or difficulty becoming pregnant. Treatment typically involves surgery to remove the scar tissue, followed by measures to help maintain a healthy uterine lining. Awareness and early diagnosis are important for effective management and improving reproductive health.
