AS numbers

AS numbers, or Autonomous System numbers, are unique identifiers assigned to large networks on the internet, known as autonomous systems. These systems are typically large organizations, internet service providers, or data centers that control a group of IP addresses and routing policies. The AS number helps routers and other network equipment identify and communicate with each other efficiently, ensuring data packets travel correctly across different networks.
