Article IV

Article IV of the U.S. Constitution primarily addresses the relationships between states and the federal government. It ensures that states respect each other's laws and court decisions (the Full Faith and Credit Clause) and outlines the process for admitting new states into the Union. Additionally, it guarantees that every state will have a republican form of government and provides for protection against invasion and domestic violence. In essence, Article IV promotes cooperation among states and establishes a framework for state governance and federal authority.
