Artaxerxes II Mnemon was an ancient Persian king of the Achaemenid Empire, ruling from around 404 to 358 BCE. He was known for maintaining the empire's vast territories during a time of internal rebellion and external threats. Artaxerxes II is remembered for his efforts to stabilize and strengthen the empire’s administration, as well as for his involvement in various military campaigns, including conflicts with Greek city-states and Egypt.
