Established in 1945, it operates a variety of aircraft, including fighter jets, transport planes, and helicopters. Its missions include air defense, intelligence gathering, and humanitarian assistance. The Air Force has played significant roles in various conflicts, notably during the Falklands War in 1982. Today, it continues to modernize its fleet and capabilities to address contemporary security challenges and maintain regional stability.
