ARCS Model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction)
The ARCS Model is a motivational framework for learning that focuses on four key elements. "Attention" involves capturing learners' interest through engaging methods. "Relevance" ensures the material relates to their goals or real-life applications, increasing meaningfulness. "Confidence" builds learners’ belief in their ability to succeed by providing appropriate challenges and support. "Satisfaction" involves creating a sense of achievement and fulfillment, encouraging continued learning. Together, these elements help educators design experiences that motivate learners intrinsically, fostering better engagement and retention.
