Arapaho Tribe
The Arapaho Tribe is a Native American group originally from the Great Plains, particularly areas that are now Colorado and Wyoming. Traditionally, they were semi-nomadic, relying on buffalo hunting and gathering for their livelihood. The tribe has its own unique language and rich cultural traditions, including storytelling, songs, and ceremonies. Today, the Arapaho people are members of two federally recognized tribes: the Northern Arapaho Tribe in Wyoming and the Southern Arapaho Tribe in Oklahoma. They continue to preserve their heritage while participating in modern society and advocating for their rights and interests.
