Arapaho people

The Arapaho are a Native American people traditionally living in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain regions of the United States, primarily in present-day Wyoming and Colorado. Historically, they were semi-nomadic, relying on hunting, especially the bison, for sustenance and making use of their environment for shelter and tools. They shared close cultural ties with neighboring tribes, like the Cheyenne. Today, the Arapaho are organized into sovereign tribes, such as the Northern Arapaho and Southern Arapaho, and participate actively in preserving their languages, traditions, and heritage.
