Appendicular skeleton

The appendicular skeleton is the part of your skeleton that includes your limbs and the bones that connect them to your torso. It consists of the arms, legs, shoulder girdle (including the collarbones and shoulder blades), and pelvic girdle (hip bones). These bones enable movement, support, and allow you to perform activities like walking, lifting, and reaching. In total, the appendicular skeleton contains about half of the body's bones, providing structure and flexibility necessary for many physical functions and activities.
