Apollinarism
Apollinarism is a Christian theological belief from the 4th century that suggests Jesus Christ had a human body but lacked a human mind or soul. According to this view, Jesus was divine in nature, with only a human body, while his divine nature replaced what would typically be the human soul and mind. The belief aimed to emphasize Jesus' divine nature but conflicted with mainstream Christian doctrine that affirms Jesus being fully human and fully divine, possessing both a human mind and soul. This doctrine was eventually rejected by the church as incompatible with orthodox Christology.
