Anton LaVey
Anton LaVey was an American writer and musician best known for founding the Church of Satan in 1966 and authoring "The Satanic Bible." He promoted a philosophy of individualism, skepticism, and self-indulgence, often using symbolism and theatrics associated with Satanism to challenge traditional religious and societal norms. LaVey’s teachings emphasized personal empowerment and the pursuit of one's desires, rather than worshiping a deity. He is a controversial figure, seen by some as a legitimate philosophical thinker and by others as a provocative icon of rebellion against mainstream beliefs.
