Antifascism

Antifascism, often called antifascism or "antifa," is a political movement committed to opposing fascism—an authoritarian, nationalist, and often racist ideology that seeks to consolidate power and suppress dissent. Antifascists oppose government oppression, hate groups, and extremist ideologies promoting inequality or violence. Their approach varies from protest and advocacy to direct action, with the goal of defending democratic values, human rights, and social justice. Essentially, antifascism is about resisting any rise of oppressive, dictatorial systems that threaten individual freedoms and equality.
