Anti-cancer therapies
Anti-cancer therapies are medical treatments designed to destroy or control cancer cells. They include chemotherapy, which uses drugs to kill rapidly dividing cells; radiation therapy, which uses high-energy rays to target cancer cells; targeted therapy, which blocks specific molecules involved in cancer growth; immunotherapy, which boosts the body's immune system to fight cancer; and surgery, which physically removes tumors. These treatments may be used alone or together, depending on the cancer type and stage, aiming to eliminate cancer, prevent its spread, and improve patient outcomes.
