The ANSI/SPARC Architecture is a framework that organizes how databases are designed and accessed, made up of three levels: the internal, conceptual, and external. The internal level manages how data is physically stored on hardware. The conceptual level presents a unified, logical view of all data, regardless of physical storage. The external level provides specific views tailored to individual users or applications, showing only relevant data. This separation allows for easier data management, updates, and security, ensuring that changes in storage or user views don't disrupt the entire system.
