ANS (Autonomic Nervous System)

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is a part of your nervous system that automatically controls many of your body's functions without your conscious effort. It manages things like your heartbeat, breathing, digestion, and blood flow, ensuring your body responds appropriately to different situations—like speeding up your heart when you're excited or slowing digestion when you're resting. The ANS has two main parts: the sympathetic division, which prepares your body for action ("fight or flight"), and the parasympathetic division, which promotes relaxation and recovery ("rest and digest"). It keeps your internal processes running smoothly and automatically.
