Anne Neville
Anne Neville (1456–1485) was a key figure in the English Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne. Born into nobility, she was the daughter of Richard Neville, the powerful Earl of Warwick. Anne married Richard III in 1472, who became king of England in 1483. Her life was marked by political intrigue and the struggle for power. Following Richard's defeat and death at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, she became a widow, and her legacy is intertwined with the turbulent history of 15th-century England.
