Anita Hill (Law Professor)
Anita Hill is an American lawyer and academic best known for her testimony during the 1991 Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas. She accused Thomas, her former boss at the U.S. Department of Education and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, of sexual harassment. Her courageous public testimony brought attention to issues of sexual harassment and paved the way for more discussions about women's rights and workplace equality. Hill is now a law professor, author, and advocate for gender equality and civil rights, continuing to influence conversations around these critical social issues.
