Andropause

Andropause, sometimes called male menopause, refers to the natural decline in testosterone levels that occurs in men as they age, typically around age 50 and beyond. This decrease can lead to symptoms such as reduced energy, lower libido, mood changes, muscle loss, and decreased facial or body hair. It’s a gradual process, not a sudden event, and not all men experience noticeable symptoms. While lower testosterone is a normal part of aging, some men may benefit from medical evaluation and treatment to manage significant symptoms and maintain overall well-being.
