AmeriCorps VISTA

AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is a national service program designed to combat poverty in communities across the United States. Participants, known as VISTA members, commit to a year of service, working with local organizations to develop sustainable solutions to challenges faced by low-income populations. Their efforts may include building programs, increasing resources, or mobilizing volunteers. In return for their service, members receive a living stipend, education awards, and other benefits. The goal of VISTA is to empower communities and promote economic opportunity through dedicated service and collaboration.
