Amblypygi

Amblypygi, commonly known as tailless whip scorpions, are arachnids related to spiders and scorpions. They have flat, elongated bodies with large, spiny front legs that resemble whips, used for sensing their environment. Unlike true scorpions, they lack a tail or stinger. They primarily dwell in dark, sheltered areas such as caves or beneath bark, where they hunt insects and small creatures. Despite their intimidating appearance, they are harmless to humans. Their unique body plan and behavior make them fascinating examples of arachnid diversity and adaptation to nocturnal, concealed lifestyles.
