Amazigh languages
Amazigh languages, also known as Berber languages, are a group of related Indigenous North African languages spoken by the Berber people across countries like Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mali, and Niger. They have a rich history dating back thousands of years and include various dialects such as Tamazight, Tachelhit, and Tarifit. These languages use unique scripts and have experienced revitalization efforts in recent years. While not as widely spoken as Arabic or French in the region, Amazigh languages are an important part of cultural identity and heritage for the Berber communities.
