Amasis II

Amasis II was a powerful Egyptian pharaoh who reigned from around 570 to 526 BCE during the 26th Dynasty. He initially served as a high-ranking official in Memphis and later became king after overthrowing the previous ruler. Amasis is known for strengthening Egypt’s economy, supporting art and architecture, and maintaining stability during his reign. He also had diplomatic relations with other great civilizations of the time, such as Persia and Greece.
