Alliance for Sweden
The Alliance for Sweden is a political coalition formed in 2004, consisting of four center-right parties: the Moderate Party, the Centre Party, the Liberal Party, and the Christian Democrats. It aimed to provide a united front to challenge the then-ruling Social Democrats in elections. The coalition focuses on issues like economic reform, lower taxes, and welfare improvements. It succeeded in the 2006 election, leading to a change in government. While it has faced challenges and changes over the years, the Alliance remains significant in Swedish politics, representing a collective alternative to left-leaning parties.
