Alianzas Público-Privadas
Alianzas Público-Privadas (PPPs), or Public-Private Partnerships, are collaborations between government entities and private companies. These partnerships are designed to finance, build, and manage public projects, such as infrastructure, schools, or hospitals. The public sector benefits from private sector efficiency and expertise, while the private sector gains opportunities for profit. Essentially, both parties share resources, risks, and responsibilities to achieve common goals, such as improving public services and infrastructure without solely relying on government funding. This approach can lead to better quality projects and more effective use of taxpayer money.
