Aleppo Souq, or the Grand Bazaar of Aleppo, is a historic market in Aleppo, Syria, known for its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. It dates back to the 14th century and features a maze of covered alleys lined with shops selling textiles, spices, handicrafts, and traditional goods. The souq was a bustling hub of commerce and culture, reflecting the city's significance as a trade center along ancient trade routes. Sadly, it has suffered extensive damage due to the ongoing Syrian conflict, resulting in the loss of both livelihood and heritage for many artisans and traders in the region.
