Alcohol extraction

Alcohol extraction is a process used to separate desirable compounds, such as plant oils, resins, or active ingredients, from plant material using alcohol as a solvent. The plant material is soaked or soaked in alcohol, which dissolves the targeted compounds. After a period of soaking, the mixture is filtered to remove solid remnants, leaving behind a solution containing the extracted substances. The alcohol can then be evaporated, leaving behind concentrated extracts or oils. This method is valued for its ability to efficiently extract many compounds at relatively low temperatures, preserving their potency and properties.
