Al-Hajjar al-Aswad
Al-Hajjar al-Aswad, or the Black Stone, is a revered stone set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, the sacred structure in Mecca. It is believed to be a relic dating back to the time of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham). Pilgrims often touch or kiss the stone during Hajj and Umrah rituals as a sign of reverence and connection to Islamic tradition. The stone’s appearance is dark and weathered, shaped over centuries by countless visitors. While it is not worshipped, it holds spiritual significance as an ancient symbol of faith and unity for Muslims worldwide.
