Ajmal Kasab was a Pakistani terrorist involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, a series of coordinated shootings and bombings that resulted in significant loss of life and panic in India. He was part of a group linked to the militant organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Captured alive by Indian authorities, Kasab’s trial garnered international attention, exposing the details of the attack and the support networks behind it. In 2012, he was sentenced to death and executed in 2012. His actions and the attacks highlighted the ongoing issues of terrorism and security in the region and globally.
