Aimhigher

Aimhigher was an educational initiative in the UK aimed at increasing participation in higher education among students from underrepresented groups. Launched in 2004, it focused on providing resources, support, and guidance to help young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, understand and access university opportunities. The program included workshops, mentoring, and partnerships with schools to raise aspirations and equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for higher education. Aimhigher sought to bridge the gap between different socioeconomic backgrounds and ensure that more individuals had the chance to pursue further education.
