AIEE

AIEE stands for the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, a professional organization founded in 1884 to support electrical engineering professionals. It focused on advancing electrical technology, promoting education, and fostering collaboration among engineers. In 1963, AIEE merged with the Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE) to form the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), which is now one of the world’s largest organizations dedicated to the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and related areas. AIEE played a crucial role in developing standards, promoting research, and supporting innovations in electrical technology.
