Aetius

Aetius was a prominent Roman general and statesman during the 5th century AD, often referred to as "the last of the Romans." He played a crucial role in defending the Western Roman Empire against various barbarian invasions, notably defeating the Huns led by Attila at the Battle of Chalons in 451 AD. Aetius was known for his political acumen and military strategy, navigating complex relationships with both allies and enemies.
