Adobe Flash Lite
Adobe Flash Lite was a lightweight version of Adobe's multimedia platform designed for mobile devices such as smartphones and feature phones. It allowed developers to create rich interactive content, animations, and simple apps that could run smoothly on devices with limited processing power and memory. By supporting Flash-based formats, Flash Lite enabled mobile devices to display multimedia content similar to what was possible on desktop browsers, facilitating mobile gaming, advertising, and applications before smartphones shifted towards other technologies like HTML5. It was discontinued in 2011 as the industry moved toward more open and versatile mobile development standards.
