Actuator Theory

Actuator Theory suggests that when a person receives information or instructions, their response is like an "actuator" in a machine—an internal mechanism triggered to produce a specific action. It emphasizes that behavior results from internal processes that convert stored knowledge, perceptions, or cues into physical or cognitive responses. In essence, it views human actions as the output of an internal system that interprets stimuli and activates appropriate behaviors, similar to a machine part responding to an input signal to produce a desired function.
