Abstract-Object Theory
Abstract-Object Theory explores the nature of universals (like qualities or properties) and particulars (individual things). In this context, it suggests that abstract objects, such as concepts or ideas (like "redness" or "beauty"), exist independently of the physical world. For example, while a red apple is a particular object, "red" as a concept is an abstract universal that can apply to many instances. This theory helps us understand how we can talk about general qualities while recognizing that individual instances are separate and unique.
