Abdominals

The abdominals, commonly called abs, are a group of muscles located in the front and sides of your abdomen. They play a key role in supporting your spine, maintaining good posture, and enabling movements like bending, twisting, and stabilizing your core during various activities. The most well-known abdominal muscles include the rectus abdominis (the "six-pack" muscle), the obliques (on the sides), and the transverse abdominis (deep inside). Strengthening these muscles enhances overall stability, can improve athletic performance, and contributes to better posture and injury prevention.
