5E Model

The 5E Model is an educational framework that guides effective teaching and learning through five phases: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. It encourages students to actively participate in their learning by first capturing their interest (Engage), then investigating concepts hands-on (Explore), followed by understanding and clarifying ideas (Explain). Students then deepen their knowledge through further activities (Elaborate), and finally, their understanding is assessed (Evaluate). This approach promotes critical thinking, student involvement, and a deeper grasp of concepts by moving learners from curiosity to mastery in a structured way.
