1862 Apollo

The Apollo 1862 was an early, experimental spacecraft built by the American space agency NASA during the Apollo program. It was designed to test new spaceflight technologies and systems in preparation for moon missions. Although not used for actual moon landings, Apollo 1862 helped develop and validate spacecraft components, navigation methods, and safety procedures. Essentially, it was part of the critical research and development effort that made Apollo lunar missions possible, contributing valuable knowledge about spacecraft operation and human spaceflight in low Earth orbit.
