Zygmuntówka (Sigismund's Chapel)

Sigismund's Chapel (Zygmuntówka) in Kraków is a renowned Renaissance mausoleum built between 1507 and 1533 for King Sigismund I of Poland. Designed by architect Francesco Fiorentino, it’s celebrated for its harmonious proportions and intricate stonework. The chapel is a small, elegant structure with a domed roof supported by columns, blending Gothic and Renaissance styles. Inside, it features beautiful frescoes and a richly decorated tomb.
